This is going to be one of those breezy business-y kinds of newsletters, because it’s getting close to Fairy Bargain's March 28 release date! Hey! It’s almost REAL!
Actually, it IS kinda real—I keep seeing ARCs popping up in lovely Instagram shots! Thank you for tagging me! You are all far more talented photographers than I am and it’s a delight to see the book out in the wild. And the book has gotten some very kind reviews, such as this one from Nerds and Beyond and this (starred!) review from Booklist.
If you haven’t gotten an ARC but want in on the “it’s a real book” excitement there’s still time to preorder. And there’s ALSO still time to get in on the pre-order giveaway, which includes a signed bookplate for you to slap in your book when it arrives and some character art swag.
And, mark your calendars! On February 28 at 7 pm, I’ll be joining other fab Orbit authors in a live online panel talking magic, families, and magical families—and all the thorny complexities that magic, families, and magical families entail. Register now AND be entered in a sweepstakes to win books. Yay, Books!
Finally, a save-the-date for local and local-ish friends: The details are still being finalized, but plans are in the works for an event celebrating the launch of The Fairy Bargains of Prospect Hill at the Barnes and Noble in Mishawaka the evening of April 4. More info forthcoming!
Hope to see many of you virtually or in-person soon!
